A new way of working 

Recent events have forced us all to adapt what we do both personally and professionally. Working from home became the norm for many businesses this year and many are unsure if returning to a central office space is right for them. We now know call centres can work differently.

 

I decided that instead of going back to our Newport office, I would equip the RWR team with all the tools they need to be successful in their home environment. This saves costs for my business, but more importantly, it has improved efficiency and staff well-being. I’m a specialist call centre recruiter so you might think this change stabbed at the heart of what I do. Whilst that is true, it gave me insight into this new way of working. I put procedures in place, planned for the future, and ensured our team is now stronger than ever. This new style of working also uniquely places the RWR team and me in the position of understanding what’s needed to create the call centres and other business models of the future.
